Tara Gengler works with interventional cardiologist Dr. Sora Reddy. Her clinical experience includes working at Trinity Medical Center in the Medical Intensive Care Unit as a staff nurse and as a Clinical Care Coordinator.
Tara attended Blackhawk College and received her Associate Degree in Nursing as an RN in 2005. She attended the University of Iowa and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006. She furthered her education at the University of Illinois at Chicago receiving her Master of Science in Nursing and completing the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program in 2009.
Tara is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the QC APN/PA Alliance, and the Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nursing. She is also a member of American College of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
Tara's professional interests include the prevention and treatment of coronary artery disease. In her spare time she enjoys playing softball, volleyball and golf and loves to spend time outdoors with her husband and three children.
