Dr. Edmund P. Coyne
M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Coyne received his undergraduate training at Boston University and his medical degree from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency in the Department of Medicine at St. Elizabeth.s Hospital in Boston. While a major in the Air Force, he completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Wilford Hall U.S.A.F. Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.

He was the Director of the Special Care Unit at Fairchild Air Force Base Hospital in Spokane, Washington, and an Instructor in Medicine for the Uniformed Services at the University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. In 1990, he became the Medical Director for the Coronary Care Unit at U.S.A.F. Medical Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. He joined Cardiovascular Medicine, P.C. in 1992.

Dr. Coyne is a fellow in the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology. His professional memberships include the Iowa Medical Society, the Scott County Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.

He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is licensed to practice in both Iowa and Illinois and is available for outpatient consultation and follow-up visits at the Davenport East Rusholme Iocation. He has staff privileges at Genesis Medical Centers and Trinity Medical Centers.
