Dr. Nidal H. Harb
M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Nidal Harb was born and raised in Jerusalem. He completed his undergraduate and medical degrees in Leningrad. Dr. Harb completed a Fellowship in Cerebrovascular Research at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, a Residency in Internal Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and then a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease and Nuclear Cardiology at the University of Louisville.

Dr. Harb went to Clinton, Iowa in 1987 and practiced as a consulting cardiologist with Medical Associates. He has held various administrative positions including Chief of Staff, Chairman of the Department of Medicine, and Director of the Catheterization Laboratory. He also served on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association and on the Executive Council of the American College of Cardiology.

In 1999 Dr. Harb went to Jerusalem and worked as a volunteer consultant to the Ministry of Health. He played a major role in modernizing cardiac care in the country. Further, Dr. Harb has been involved in research and participated in numerous international clinical trials. He presented scientific papers at national and international meetings.

Dr. Harb joined CVM, P.C. in 2001. He is licensed in Iowa and Illinois. He is available for outpatient consultations and follow-up visits at the Davenport East Rusholme and Clinton locations. He has staff privileges at Genesis Medical Centers and Trinity Medical Centers.

Dr. Harb is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, and the American College of Chest Physicians. He is currently a clinical assistant professor of cardiology at the University of Iowa, and is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Nuclear Cardiology.
