Dr. Pothula received his Medical Degree from the Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool India. He competed his Internal Medicine Residency at Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan. His Cardiology Fellowship training was completed at the University of Missouri, Columbia Missouri and his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship from Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Pothula was awarded many gold medals during his medical graduation for academic achievements.
Dr. Pothula became a part of the Quad Cities community in 2001. He is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. He is licensed in Illinois and Iowa and is available for outpatient consultation and follow-up visits at the Moline, Aledo and Monmouth locations. Dr. Pothula has staff privileges at Trinity Medical Centers and Genesis Medical Centers.
