Dr. Rajendran received his undergraduate and medical school training in India. He had further training in Internal Medicine at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester, England, where he was a teaching fellow in internal Medicine. He also received training in cardiology at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, United Kingdom.

He came to the United States in 1993 as a Resident in Internal Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School/St. Peter.s Medical Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He completed a Fellowship in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at the New England Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.

His memberships include the American Heart Association, the American Medical Association, the Iowa Medical Society, and the Rock Island County and Scott County Medical Societies.

Dr. Rajendran joined Cardiovascular Medicine, P.C. in 1997. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is licensed in both Iowa and Illinois and is available for outpatient consultation and follow-up visits at the Davenport Rusholme and Geneseo locations. He has staff privileges at Genesis Medical Centers and Trinity Medical Centers.
