After graduating from the Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Wallner received his medical training in Belgium. He completed his Internship and Residency at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital, Brooklyn, New York. He completed his Cardiology training at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Wallner is presently the Director of Cardiology Services at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island, Illinois. He has also served as Chairperson for the Department of Medicine at Trinity Medical Center. He has served as Director for several departments that specialized in pacemakers, Holter monitoring, electrocardiography, and electrophysiology at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
Dr. Wallner opened a private practice in 1991 in Moline. He joined Cardiovascular Medicine, P.C. in June of 1999, and specializes in consultative and invasive cardiology. He is licensed to practice medicine in Illinois and Iowa, and is available for outpatient consultation and follow-up visits at the Moline and Silvis locations. He has staff privileges at Trinity Medical Centers and Genesis Medical Centers.
