Patient Accounts, Billing Specialist – Full-time opportunity for a Billing Specialist for our Patient Financial Services Department, located in Davenport. This position is responsible for accurately reflecting, to third party payors, the services interpreted by the medical staff of Cardiovascular Medicine by selecting the appropriate ICD and CPT codes. Ideal candidate will possess an overall knowledge of the Revenue Cycle and be able to perform the following duties: Establish and update new patient records, accurately and efficiently verify diagnostic tests done at the hospital, accurately and timely select appropriate codes for hospital interpretation, enter charges into the practice management system, enter hospital based charges in an accurate and timely manner, and promptly review hospital procedure logs/schedules to identify any missed charges. Experience/education/certification in healthcare or related field is preferred.


Human Resources Specialist - Full-time opportunity for a Human Resources professional to join the Administrative Team. This position works directly with the Human Resources Generalist to provide support in the functional areas of HR. Responsibilities include recruiting, compensation, employee relations, health/dental benefits, pension plans and training.


Receptionist – Full-time opportunity for a Receptionist in our Moline Office! This position greets patients and obtains, verifies, and updates information using the practice management computer system, enters insurance information into patients’ accounts, answers questions regarding CVM’s general procedures, maintains physician and clinic schedules by scheduling and rescheduling appointments, explains financial polices to patients, requests co-payments and outstanding balances, posts personal payments and balances daily receipts, and enters, verifies and balances office charges on a daily basis. Informatics Support, Entry Level - Full-time and part-time opportunities for Informatics Support Professional in our Davenport and Moline Offices. Monitor Technician - Pacemaker / Device Clinic - Full-time opportunity for a Monitor Technician in the Device Clinic of our Moline office. This position facilitates positive patient outcomes by providing clinical support to the Physicians and Device Specialists, and by performing technically correct holter and long-term monitor placement. The Monitor Technician assists the Physicians and clinical staff to plan, assess, educate, implement and evaluate the device care of Cardiovascular Medicine, P.C. patients. Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician education or experience is preferred. Previous medical office experience is a plus! Great Monday – Friday schedule, no nights or weekends!


Ancillary Services Support – Full-time opportunity for an Ancillary Service Support Professionals in our Davenport Office. If you have a positive can-do attitude, desire a stable professional work environment, and are looking for a career in healthcare, we want you! This position presents excellent customer service and serves as the first impression to outside referring physician offices contacting CVM to schedule diagnostic testing/procedures.  The Ancillary Services Support Role also enables the facilitation of positive patient outcomes through patient care support.  Ideal candidates have working experience as an EKG Tech, CNA, Patient Care Tech, or comparable training, experience, and/or education. Previous cardiac knowledge is preferred.


Diagnostic Medical Assistant – Full-time opportunity for Certified Medical Assistant for the Diagnostic Department, supporting our Davenport and Moline offices. Responsibilities include performing technically correct stress tests, establishing intravenous access in patients, assist with patient procedure prep and recovery, assist in the coordination of patient procedures, enter pertinent data in the clinical record, and assisting our physicians with vein procedures. Candidates must have Medical Assistant certification and should have strong communication skills and excellent teamwork. Great Monday – Friday schedule, no nights or weekends!


Registered Nurse, Office-Based Procedural Lab – Full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse in our office-based procedural labs. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, this role contributes professional nursing knowledge and maintains a practice environment that reflects the ANA Code for Nurses. The registered nurse provides care pre-procedure, intra-procedure and post-procedure for specialized interventional procedures in a circulator, supply, and scrub role. Moderate sedation is administered by the nurse during specialized interventional procedures under the direct supervision of physician.  Qualifications include: Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nurse, current Registered Nurse license in Iowa and Illinois, BCLS, ACLS, Procedural Sedation certification, valid driver’s license and insurance, and minimum two years of moderate sedation experience within the last 5 years are required. Minimum 4 years of Cardiac experience, with 12 lead ECG interpretation skills preferred. Cardiac Cath lab or Interventional radiology experience preferred. Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiovascular Medicine, P.C. is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to support an Electrophysiology/Cardiology Practice. This opportunity is within a large, well-established cardiology practice.

Responsibilities include utilization of advanced nursing skills to appropriately assess, educate, evaluate, diagnose and implement treatment plans for cardiac patients in outpatient setting. Care delivery will include but not be limited to performance and dictation of history and physicals and ability to hold independent office clinics. Previous cardiac experience is required.  This position offers a competitive salary, Vacation/CME time and an outstanding 401(k) package.

RN / LPN - Full-time opportunities for Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses in the Moline and Davenport offices. Responsibilities for this position include managing an assigned physician's practice, by providing support through coordinating his/her schedule, scheduling tests/procedures for patients, manage incoming/outgoing phone calls, and responding to requests for medication refills, prior authorizations, sample requests, and patient assistant programs. This position will also be responsible for learning, and utilizing the Electronic Medical Records system for effective documentation in patient charts, assessing and preparing any incoming mail for the physician's review, completing incoming FMLA and disability forms promptly, and other duties as assigned. Certified Medical Assistant - Full-time and part-time opportunities for Certified Medical Assistants in our Davenport and Moline offices. Responsibilities include preparing patients for appointments by collecting the patient's weight, vitals, EKG, medical history and refilling prescriptions, patient education, scheduling diagnostics tests and procedures, and maintaining electronic medical records for all patients.
