CLINICAL OPPORTUNITIES:

RN / LPN - Cardiovascular Medicine, P.C. is seeking a full-time Licensed Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the Moline office. Responsibilities for this position include managing an assigned physician's practice, by providing support through coordinating his/her schedule, scheduling tests/procedures for patients, manage incoming/outgoing phone calls, and responding to requests for medication refills, prior authorizations, sample requests, and patient assistant programs. This position will also be responsible for learning, and utilizing the Electronic Medical Records system for effective documentation in patient charts, assessing and preparing any incoming mail for the physician's review, completing incoming FMLA and disability forms promptly, and other duties as assigned.

 

LPN / Clinical Support Medical Assistant - Cardiovascular Medicine, P.C. has a full-time Clinical Support opportunity available for a LPN or experienced Certified Medical Assistant in our Moline office. Duties include providing clinical support to physicians in the practice by managing phone calls, scheduling tests and procedures, providing patient education and coordinating the physicians' schedules. Eligible candidates must have Medical Assistant experience with active NCMA, CMA (AAMA), or RMA credentials. Candidates must also have exceptional communication, organizational, multi-tasking and teamwork skills!

Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Medicine, P.C. is seeking a full-time or part-time Registered Nurse to assess, plan, educate, and implement the care of our patients in the Office-based procedural lab.  This position prepares patients for office-based lab procedures, obtains admission history and nursing assessment. Responsible for the recovery of patients post peripheral angiogram. Deliver high quality groin management assessment and skills. Utilize universal protocol and aseptic technique. Under the direction of a physician, administer moderate sedation. Provide patient monitoring and assessment throughout procedure and recovery period. Demonstrate and maintain proficiency in manual skills and techniques required to operate specialized equipment in the office-based setting. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of radiation safety. Document accurate patient medical record data.  Qualified candidates must be credentialed as a Nurse in the States of Illinois and Iowa, and possess a background with strong clinical and technical skills including previous Cath lab or interventional radiology (peripheral angiograms) experience, multi-tasking, and have exceptional customer service and teamwork skills!!

Registered Radiologic Technologist - Cardiovascular Medicine, P.C. is seeking a full-time or part-time to perform tasks of considerable difficulty in the technical procedures of applying prescribed ionizing radiation to procedure diagnostic radiographs during interventional procedures and implement the care of our patients in the Office-based procedural lab.

This position delivers high quality patient care while demonstrating knowledge and clinical skills of the specialty required in the office-based lab in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care under the direct supervision of the physician. Assists the physician during procedures in the scrub and x-ray technologist role. Ability to utilize mobile C-arm.  Delivers high quality groin management skills. Follows Universal protocol and aseptic technique. Demonstrates and maintains proficiency in the manual skills and techniques required to operate specialized equipment in the office-based lab. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of radiation safety and practice. Responsible for charge capture and daily supply management. Document accurate patient medical record data.

Qualified candidates must be credentialed as a Registered x-ray technologist in the States of Illinois and Iowa, and possess a background with strong clinical and technical skills including previous Cath lab or interventional radiology (peripheral angiograms) experience, multi-tasking, and have exceptional customer service and teamwork skills!!

Patient Care Tech / Medical Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant - Cardiovascular Medicine, P.C. has full-time opportunities for Patient Care Techs / Medical Assistants in our Moline Office. If you are a Certified Medical Assistant, MA, Non-certified Medical Assistant or an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA, and are interested in working in a Professional Medical Environment, Monday - Friday (no nights, no weekends) this opportunity may be for you! This position assists the patient; preparing them for their appointment by collecting the patient's weight, vitals, EKG, medical history and entering information into the electronic medical record. Candidates should be professionals with strong communication skills, a positive can-do attitude and excellent teamwork. Experience working with geriatric population and/or with cardiovascular care a plus.

Certified Medical Assistant - Cardiovascular Medicine, P.C. is looking for Full-Time Certified Medical Assistants in our Davenport and Moline offices. Responsibilities include preparing patients for appointments by collecting the patient's weight, vitals, EKG, medical history and refilling prescriptions, patient education, scheduling diagnostics tests and procedures, and maintaining electronic medical records for all patients. Candidates should have strong communication skills and excellent teamwork.
