This position greets patients and obtains, verifies, and updates information using the practice management computer system, enters insurance information into patients’ accounts, answers questions regarding CVM’s general procedures, maintains physician and clinic schedules by scheduling and rescheduling appointments, explains financial polices to patients, requests co-payments and outstanding balances, posts personal payments and balances daily receipts, and enters, verifies and balances office charges on a daily basis. Informatics Lead - Full-time opportunity for an Informatics Lead in our Davenport Office. This position is responsible for providing daily direction and leadership to staff consistent with Supervisor’s approach, maintaining strong communication with Supervisor apprising of operational processes and staffing issues, including staffing compliance with policies, to ensure unified vision. Patient Accounts Revenue Cycle Coordinator - Full-time opportunity for an outgoing individual to provide clerical/administrative support to the Patient Accounts department in Davenport. This position is an important piece of our Patient Accounts Department and is responsible for the assessment and maintenance of operational processes within the Patient Accounts areas including Insurance Processing, Coding, Pre-Certifications, and Collections. Ancillary Services Support – Full-time opportunity for a Ancillary Service Support Professionals in our Davenport Office. If you have a positive can-do attitude, desire a stable professional work environment, and are looking for a career in healthcare, we want you! This position presents excellent customer service and serves as the first impression to outside referring physician offices contacting CVM to schedule diagnostic testing/procedures. The Ancillary Services Support Role also enables the facilitation of positive patient outcomes through patient care support. Ideal candidates have working experience as an EKG Tech, CNA, Patient Care Tech, or comparable training, experience, and/or education. Previous cardiac knowledge is preferred.
Device Specialist - Full-time Pacemaker/Device Specialist opportunity for an EMT - Paramedic or Licensed Practical Nurse that will assess, plan, educate, and implement the care of our patients in the Device Clinic of our Davenport and Moline offices. Responsibilities include facilitating positive patient outcomes by performing device analysis, troubleshooting device abnormalities, and utilizing knowledge of EKG and device functions. Responsibilities include in-office device interrogation, arrhythmia identification and limited patient assessments, processing and scheduling remote device checks, telephone triage of incoming calls to the device clinic, communication of test results with patients, patient test follow-up, and assisting in data management for the clinic patients. Includes local travel to multiple CVM clinic sites. Qualified candidates must be credentialed as a Licensed Practical Nurse, EMT-P, or possess other type of educational background with strong clinical and technical skills including EKG rhythm identification, multi-tasking, and have exceptional customer service and teamwork skills!! Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
RN / LPN - Full-time opportunity for a Licensed Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the Moline office. Responsibilities for this position include managing an assigned physician's practice, by providing support through coordinating his/her schedule, scheduling tests/procedures for patients, manage incoming/outgoing phone calls, and responding to requests for medication refills, prior authorizations, sample requests, and patient assistant programs. This position will also be responsible for learning, and utilizing the Electronic Medical Records system for effective documentation in patient charts, assessing and preparing any incoming mail for the physician's review, completing incoming FMLA and disability forms promptly, and other duties as assigned. Certified Medical Assistant - Full-time opportunity for Certified Medical Assistants in our Davenport and Moline offices. Echo Technologist – Full-time opportunity for an Echo Technologist in the Diagnostics department of our Davenport and Moline Offices, with a great no- nights or weekends schedule! Responsibilities for this position includes performing adult echocardiography, contrast and saline bubble studies, exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography. Qualified candidates are able to perform echocardiography according to established protocols and accreditation standards, placing emphasis on the quality of the procedure, contribute to preparation for ICAEL accreditation, attend quality improvement meetings, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications include: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Valid driver license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation required.
Registered Nurse, Office-Based Lab – PRN opportunities for Registered Nurses in our office-based procedural labs. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, this role contributes professional nursing knowledge and maintains a practice environment that reflects the ANA Code for Nurses. The registered nurse provides care pre-procedure, intra-procedure and post-procedure for specialized interventional procedures in a circulator, supply, and scrub role. Moderate sedation is administered by the nurse during specialized interventional procedures under the direct supervision of physician. Qualifications include: Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nurse, current Registered Nurse license in Iowa and Illinois, BCLS, ACLS, Procedural Sedation certification, valid driver’s license and insurance, and minimum two years of moderate sedation experience within the last 5 years are required. Minimum 4 years of Cardiac experience, with 12 lead ECG interpretation skills preferred. Cardiac Cath lab or Interventional radiology experience preferred.
