Cyndi Burkholder

MS ARNP ACNP-BC

Cyndi Burkholder, MS, ARNP, ACNP-BC, is an Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner working with CVM’s Electrophysiology team. Cyndi started at CVM in 2010 with a focus on cardiovascular disease and transitioned to electrophysiology. She has been a nurse since 2000.

Cyndi attended Clinton Community College and received her Associates Degree in Nursing as a Registered Nurse in 2000. She attended the University of Iowa graduating in 2007 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She furthered her education at the University of Illinois at Chicago receiving her Master of Sciences degree and completing the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program in 2010.

Cyndi is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and the Quad Cities APN/PA Alliance.

Cyndi is a lifelong learner. She is passionate about all branches of cardiology, in particular electrophysiology with its rapid advancement in technology and tools used to tailor patient care and improve outcomes. In her spare time, Cyndi and her husband enjoy spending time outdoors, off roading, camping and exploring off the beaten path.
