Toni Martin supports the physicians of Cardiovascular Medicine in the hospital setting, transitioning to this role after nine years assisting the office based electrophysiology team at CVM. Her prior clinical experience includes working as a registered nurse on an interventional cardiac unit and several years in the Emergency Department.

Toni joined CVM in September, 2013, working with Dr. Helbert Acosta, Electrophysiologist. Her prior clinical experience includes working as a registered nurse on an interventional cardiac unit and several years in the Emergency Department. Toni attended St. Ambrose University in Davenport, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006. She furthered her education at Clarke University, receiving her Master of Science in Nursing and completing the Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2013. Toni is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her professional interests include arrhythmia management, device therapy, and heart disease. Toni enjoys living in the Midwest and loves the changing seasons. She enjoys reading and keeping active with outdoor hobbies. Her favorite thing is spending time with family and being the lucky mother of three rambunctious boys.
