Diane Boelens works with interventional cardiologist Dr. Faraz Manazir. Her nursing background includes employment in a Level II Trauma Center, Critical Care Unit, and a Cardiovascular Unit. Diane’s ability to support Cardiovascular Medicine physicians effectively is synonymous with both her education and her vast experience in the hospital/clinical setting.

Diane attended Moline Public School of Nursing where she received her diploma in Nursing as an RN in 1981. She attended the University of Illinois graduating in 1989 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She furthered her education at the University of Illinois at Chicago receiving her Master of Science in Nursing and completing the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program in 2005.

Diane is Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and the QCA APN/PA Alliance.

Diane’s personal interests include physical fitness activities such as walking, soccer, and Jazzercise. She also enjoys gardening and reading.
