Our Advanced
Practitioners

Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants assist our Physicians in providing the best care for patients with heart failure, heart attacks, angina, cardiac, and vein diseases as permitted by their licensure.

Michelle Lake

DNP, APRN, AGACNP

Michelle Lake works exclusively with the Hospitalist program. Her prior clinical experience includes eight years as a nurse in the ICU and two years in the emergency department.

 

Michelle attended Trinity College of Nursing graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015. Michelle furthered her education by attending the University of Illinois at Chicago, receiving her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2022. Michelle also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education.

 

Michelle is Board Certified by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). She is a member of AACN national and local chapters, a national member of American Nurses Association and a member of the Quad City APN/PA Alliance.

 

Michelle’s professional interests include atrial fibrillation, Abiomed Impella management and hypertension management.
